Program Overview
HR for Non-HR Practitioners is a two-day capability-building program designed for line managers, department heads, project managers, and senior individual contributors who make people decisions daily — but without formal HR training. The program does not aim to turn participants into HR professionals. Instead, it equips them with the knowledge, frameworks, and legal awareness needed to collaborate effectively with HR, avoid costly mistakes, and become more deliberate and strategic people leaders.
Target Participants
Line Managers and Supervisors who manage teams directly
Department Heads involved in hiring, appraisals, or disciplinary decisions
Project Managers leading cross-functional or contractual teams
Senior Individual Contributors preparing for people leadership roles
Corporate Employees in Finance, IT, Legal, or Operations who work closely with HR
Program Objectives
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
Understand core HR functions and how they support organizational strategy, not just compliance
Navigate the employee lifecycle with confidence and legal awareness
Apply HR principles and frameworks to everyday management situations
Recognize the legal and ethical boundaries that govern people's decisions in the Philippine context
Collaborate effectively with HR — knowing when to act, when to escalate, and when to co-create
Give structured, behavior-based feedback and manage performance and underperformance correctly
Handle employee relations, discipline, grievances, and sensitive disclosures using proper process
